FTP FAQ
FTP - File Transfer Protocol

FTP? What is it? It's a network protocol that is used to exchange files over the internet (simply put)

How does it work? Really really well. For a detailed answer, click here.

What program do you recommend? We recommend the program Core FTP LE 2.1 - It is free and very straight forward to use.

I downloaded it, how do I use it? We've created our own handy dandy screenshot tutorial on how to get started. To see it, click Here.

Can other people use my FTP? FTP is often used as a way for people to transfer files back and forth to each other. We do not recommend that you give out your FTP login information to anyone else.

I gave someone my FTP login information and they deleted some stuff, can I get it back? Sorry, no. Your account remains secure as long as you do not give out your password to anyone. Should someone alter your account, we will be able to reset the password and send it to your email. We are not responsible for any information lost or altered because of who you shared your information with.
